Compassionate Kids Program at the CRPF Public School, New Delhi

Dec 18, 2018 @ 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM CRPF Public School, New Delhi, Dwarka, New Delhi

Many thanks to Binni Babbar and Preeti Singh for organizing STRAW’s “Compassionate Kids” Humane Education Program at the CRPF Public School, Dwarka, New Delhi for about 75 students of Class IV. Also a big thank you to Yogita Gupta and Yukti Thakur for conducting the program successfully.
And Yes, thanks CRPF School for giving us a chance to conduct this program.

A very intelligent and receptive group of students found the short film about the friendship between a pet St. Bernard and a mongrel on the street, fascinating. They watched the film with rapt attention and understood that animals have feelings and feel pain just as much as human beings.

The other film shown to them was about the life of a plastic bag and how it ends up harming the environment and the animals who are so much a part of it. This film was also followed up with a group discussion where all the 75 students participated enthusiastically.

In case anybody wants a program to be organized in your children's school or in the school you teach, kindly send us an email to [email protected]
