Second Session at Indic International School: A Step Towards Compassionate Learning

Sep 20, 2024 @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Indic International school, Kompally, Hyderabad

During our second Compassionate Classroom session at Indic International School, we focused on raising awareness about the hardships faced by animals such as elephants, horses, and camels, who give joy rides to toursits. The students were surprised to learn about the physical and emotional toll these animals endure while giving joy rides and, in response, took a pledge to never participate in such activities again.

A noteworthy highlight of this session was the school's generous support for STRAW India’s mission. The director, principal, and students made a significant donation, a testament to their dedication and effort in raising funds for our cause. Their financial contribution will play a crucial role in advancing our work to and raise awareness about problems faced by animals, among school children.
